The Imitation Game

Based on a true story, Benedict Cumberbatch plays Alan Turing, a prodigy who is selected to help decode the German Nazi's messages. Teaming up with other mathematicians and statisticians including the lovely Joan Clarke (Keira Knightley), the group manages to bring forth some controversial topics to the world like homosexuality and politics. I did not know back in those days that if you were "indecent" you were sentenced to jail especially if you were a well known man who went to Cambridge. Even though the movie has a wacky unlinear timeline, it is obvious that viewers are shown Turing's history from the beginning to the end including some interesting facts when his life ended. Throughout an interesting plot line, the movie shows nothing is normal and if you are normal, you can be a bit hollow in the inside.
