In this British infested movie, viewers get to see Gary "Eggsy" Unwin (Taron Egerton), a street rat who thinks who's had it rough when it reality he's just trying to protect his mother from her abusive boyfriend and watch out for his little baby sister. Eggsy gets recruited by a strange but awesome man named Hart (Colin Firth) who knew his father and is part of a secret business called Kingsman. This movie keeps viewers entertained by showing Eggsy go through the trials of trying to be part of Kingsman by surviving a room filled to the top with water to jumping out of an airplane thinking that only one of his peers does not have a parachute to even shooting a very cute dog. The trials he had to face made him think of who he was and who he wanted to be for Kingsman. It reminds some people of a really intense James Bond movie even though some of the James Bond movies are already intense. And what is a movie without an antagonist? With Samuel L. Jackson playing Valentine, the movie is an entertaining and intriguing movie that keeps it's viewers on the edge of their seats wondering what is going to happen next. Not to mention the amazing music that is being played throughout the movie. Kingsman definitely makes viewers think like Ernest Hemingway-"There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self."
Rated R for language, intense scenes, and brief nudity.
My Rating: A
