In this funny movie, Adam Sandler teams up with his buddies Kevin James and Josh Gad against the aliens who decided to take the forms of classic games like Pacman, Centipede, and Donkey Kong and makes sure they don't take over the planet. Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler) is your average American Joe, who installs electronics for a living and also happens to be second best when it comes to the American Classic Games. It's not until the aliens decide to dock on their planet that his friend, Cooper (Kevin Bacon), who is the president of the United States, needs his help along with Ludlow (Josh Gad) in order to make sure that the aliens do not take their planet. While battling against centipedes and Pac Man is awesome, this movie was not well put together. Several scenes were great to watch but not in the way it was placed. The writers could have done a better job, but it is a comedy. There's got to be some slip ups in some way shape or form. Let's not forget the cheesy and ridiculous-ness when it comes to comedies. When a woman from a video game is brought to life and starts developing feelings for one of the characters, that's when things are taken a little too far and makes viewers not want to watch. But this doesn't distract viewers from the fact that there are the funny parts especially if it involves the creator of PacMan. All in all, this movie is entertaining, but that's it. Just entertaining. If you want to save yourself a few dollars, just wait until Redbox or better yet, when it comes onto TV.

*Rated PG-13 for language, crude humor, and intense scenes
