Aloha

In this romance, Bradley Cooper plays Brian Gilcrest who is coming back to Hawaii in order to help billionaire Carson Welch (Bill Murray) with a satellite launch. A couple things that are making this so complicated though are his ex Tracy (Rachel McAdams) who is now married and has two kids (one of which looks oddly a lot like Brian) and Captain Alison Ng (Emma Stone) who is his watchdog since he had a few mishaps happen while he was gone. While it seems interesting seeing the characters develop throughout the movie (and seeing feelings develop), it was just entertaining and when the "action" with the whole satellite being shed to light happened, it wasn't deemed as important as Brian still talking to his ex who he abandoned 13 years ago and while falling for Alison. One great thing about this movie though is the all star cast. It definitely helped distract some viewers from the choppy scene changes since consistency does seem a little off. Other than that, the metaphors in this movie are beautiful and one of which viewers will take especially at the very end is you can't change the sky. Nobody can own the sky. The sky is the limit.

*Rated PG-13 for language and sexual innuendo
