In this time twisting movie, Brad Pitt plays Benjamin Button who was born an old man in a baby's body and grows into a baby. The story is told by Daisy (Cate Blanchett), his lover, who is on her death bed due to old age and her daughter, Caroline (Julia Omond) who is reading from his journal. At the same time, Hurricane Katrina is on it's way about to hit New Orleans and the rest of the south east of the United States of America. The tale of Benjamin Button is quite a curious one indeed. Thanks to amazing make up artists, viewers get to see Benjamin Button have wrinkles by the time he starts to walk and have acne by the time he hits his 60's. Viewers are able to see Benjamin's life from beginning to the end. From when his foster mother, Queenie, (Taraji P. Henson) takes him in to when he first meets Daisy when they were just seven years old. It can be quite confusing at times trying to figure out how old Benjamin is, but viewers can tell that he is getting older, not just because Daisy is getting older every time she visits him, but how a few of the folks in the retirement home he stays at are passing away before his eyes. It is when he is out on his own that time tends to stand still just a little bit for Benjamin, but it is still passing by even when he is working on a tugboat or traveling around the world. Even though Benjamin was getting older and younger by the moment, he still embraced the fact that he was living his life whether he was falling in love or traveling the world. No matter what, time is always passing even backwards so make the best of it.
