Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation

In this action packed movie, Tom Cruise plays risky Ethan Hunt, an agent who works for the IMF, which is being discontinued due to the fact of little mess ups the agents have made. If Jeremy Renner plays the leader of IMF as William Brandt, nothing can go wrong, right? Nope. It's up to Ethan to figure out who is causing innocent killings since it is not IMF and make sure his friends don't get hurt in the process. Did I mention that Alec Baldwin is part of the CIA and makes IMF part of the CIA? Talk about complexity. Even though this movie does feel like another James Bond movie, it has it's complexities. There is a lot of which-side-does-this-character-belong-to shenanigans going on in the beginning, but the plot becomes a little less twisted as the movie goes on. It does captivate the audience though making them wonder what's going to happen next. It sure does have it's spy moments too, which is why it can be somewhat of a resemblance to the James Bond movies. It has the same amount of action; that's for sure. In the end though, desperate times call for desperate measures.

*Rated PG-13 for several scenes of violence and action and one brief nudity part.
