Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I

In the seventh installment of the Harry Potter series, wanted wizards and witch Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) are on the lookout for Hocruxes, pieces of Voldemort's soul, and they are not hesitating to destroy them. The thing is Dumbledore didn't really tell Harry how to find them; let alone how to destroy them. It's a hunt and the hunters are being hunted. Meanwhile things at Hogwarts have taken a turn for the worse. Snape (Alan Rickman) is now headmaster, and Harry can't stand the fact that he's where Dumbledore used to be. The magic is a lot more intense in this movie than all of the movies combined, and it's all aimed at Voldemort. Viewers anticipated the end and this was it.

*Rated PG-13 for some sequences of intense action violence, frightening images, and brief sensuality.

My Rating: A+++

Sadly enough I didn't watch this movie as much as I did the others, but since the book was divided into two movies, the details captured were far more satisfying. Still upset about the fact that Harry's eyes are still blue, but I can't really change that. The magic has definitely taken off in this movie especially with the CGI when it comes to making Dobby. I felt like Dobby in the second movie was more real looking than the one in this movie even though he is more adorable in this movie. The seriousness in this movie too... Oh my goodness. This movie and the past two Harry Potter's made me cry with all the death, but I feel like this ending hit me the hardest. It was definitely a good movie and the way it ended was a great way to start the second part of the Deathly Hallows.
