You know you feel old when you realize that this movie came out in 2002. You can definitely tell this movie is old when you can see the CGI just leak from Scooby Doo, the infamous dog from the old cartoon we used to watch on Cartoon Network. Scooby (voiced by Neil Fanning), Shaggy (Matthew Lillard), Velma (Linda Cardellini), Daphne (Sarah Michelle Gellar), and Fred (Freddie Prince Jr.) have been through a lot within the years catching monster after monster and unmasking each one. After catching their last ghost together, the group decides to take a break from the monster catching. It's not until Mr. Mondavarious invites each member of Mystery Inc. to Spooky Island to figure out what's going on with the college students. Apparently they go there as their own person, but when they leave it's like they have different personalities. This movie will definitely make you feel nostalgic when you see the little quirks each character has. Fred is a little bit conceited and is into Daphne as much as she is to him. Velma is still the smart one and still can't see whenever her glasses fall off her face. As for Shaggy and Scooby... we can just say they never cease to amaze me with how much they can eat. Even though this movie can be a little corny with it's stereotypical ways of the gang, it still has the comedic inserts that everyone can enjoy. Definitely a movie to watch with the family if you can deal with the really old CGI works.
*Rated PG for some rude humor, language, and scary action.
