Welp. The time has come between one of the biggest controversies this year has brought: Batman or Superman? Some people think Batman, because all he has to do is find Kryptonite and Superman is automatically done. As for Superman, well, what can you do? He's kind of like what some people would say a God. But the biggest question of all: why are they going head to head in this movie? The movie starts off with the two different points of views: Superman (Henry Cavill) is trying to be a typical humble farm boy but with his powers, it's kind of difficult to have that lifestyle. But with the help of his mother, he has come to terms that he can change some things about his life especially with the negative comments the media has to say about him. As for Batman (Ben Affleck) , it was as if viewers were watching the Superman movie again except he was one of the viewers who saw Superman battling the magnetic pull that would have put Earth out of the map. Also, I know this is a little out of left field, but is it me or did Ben Affleck get super buff for this movie? Anyways, because of this battle, Batman wants justice from Superman due to the fact of all the deaths and injuries that was brought on. Now I don't want to spoil too much since it is the opening weekend and all for this movie, but it is not a bad movie. Due to the fact that the Avengers came out not too long ago, some viewers might think that it's just a more mature version of the Avengers. But if you're old enough or nerdy enough to figure out why Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) or even Lex Luther (Jesse Eisenberg) is part of the movie then you'll know it is a set up for what is called the Justice League. If you don't know what that is, look it up and maybe it will intrigue you to watch the movie. It can get a little graphic, but it is an action movie after all. All in all, not a bad movie.
*Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action throughout and some sensuality.
My Rating: A
