So I was kind of nodding off every now and again, but I did my very best to stay attentive to the movie. It's just been kind of a long week especially with school, work, and life. Anyways, Daniel Craig is back at it again as agent 007 AKA James Bond. This time he is out to find someone and that someone might be a blast from the past. Jumping off the last movie Skyfall, Bond is obeying someone he used to be closed to, but he soon realizes he's going to do a lot more than just the typical spy stuff. He's going to have to go against his boss' orders and do his own thing in order to find out the answers. Just like any other stereotypical action movie, he is brought everywhere throughout the world: Mexico, Rome, and even his home London. The suspense is the thing that keeps the viewers on their toes though. This movie automatically makes viewers question everything Bond is doing once the movie starts. Why is he in Mexico? Why is he beating this guy up in a helicopter? What is going on? The small humor remarks also keep it entertaining so that it's not so serious. The plot may not have that much depth but it definitely keeps the story going. Daniel Craig is not my favorite James Bond, but he definitely keeps everybody on their toes especially with his love interest, Madeleine (Lea Seydoux.) For a girl who keeps on saying to stay away from her, it's kind of doing the reverse and on her! All in all this movie is good, and it definitely comes to show that the dead can come back to life.
*Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of action and violence, some disturbing images, sensuality, and language.
My Rating: B
