The Intern (Second Review)

So since I am rating this movie a second time, I thought I could add a little bit more feeling about how I feel about this movie. Well, for starters this is going to be on my wish list for my birthday since Easter is tomorrow and I don't think the Easter bunny will be able to get me the movie that fast :( I always like Robert De Niro. He kind of reminds me of my grandfather in a way except he has a bigger nose. Anyways, Robert De Niro is at it again as Ben, a senior citizen who wants to go back to the work force and do something with his life. I'm sure a lot of us have had that feeling especially when you're getting out of a slump. The thing is Ben decided to do something out of the ordinary and become the intern for CEO and founder of About the Fit, Jules (Anne Hathaway.) Jules is not your typical founder of a company though; She is always on the move; Never really has time to eat or sleep and when she does, it's not sufficient enough to keep her awake even when putting her daughter to sleep or spending quality time with her husband. As both of their lives start to intertwine with each others, Jules starts to realize that she can actually be sane with Ben around, and Ben, well, he's just enjoying the fact that he gets to help out around the office like cleaning off a messy table or eyeballing the company's masseuse. I guess this movie kind of hit me hard since I am studying to be an accountant in the real world and that's kind of an important position in a company. That and trying to balance with your social life along with your love life can be a struggle. This may be your typical happy ending kind of movie, but if you want humor or just a heart warming movie, this is your go to movie.

*Rated PG-13 for some suggestive content and brief strong language.

My Rating: A+++
