Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising

From the first Neighbors movie comes Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, and what I have to say is not that pretty. Starting off like the first movie was kind of interesting, but I don't know what is up with Seth Rogan or the other writers but they have some issues when it came to writing this movie. Maybe they had really bad neighbors and they were trying to get them out so maybe that's why these movies came out, but it gets a little extreme. It just makes me wonder a lot of things about the writers.

Mac Radner (Seth Rogan) and Kelly Radner (Rose Byrne) are at it again, and they're about to have their second child while trying to move out. Guessing from the growth of Stella, it's been a few years since the fraternity boys have left the scene and started their own lives. That is, what viewers might think. Just a few scenes later, viewers see that everybody is pretty content with their lives except Teddy Sanders (Zac Efron) who thinks his value is becoming less important by the day. It's not until a few girls who just entered college are trying to beat the system and start up their own sorority, and where else could they start but the house where the fraternity, Delta Psi, was once held. At first Teddy thought he could help out the girls by jump starting their dream of the sorority, but it gets a little crazy especially since the Radner's house is on escrow for 30 days. With crazy partying, a lot of weed (which by the way, made me wonder which state this movie was shot in), and a little child playing with a dildo as her toy, I'm not surprised there wasn't that much depth in the movie. It still has viewers dying from laughter though. I mean who's not going to laugh at the self inflicted pain Mac puts himself in just to get out of his own garage? Or when they're trying to get the girls to get off their property? What about the Radner's crazy friends? Now that is a couple you might want to stay away from. It is hilarious, but nonetheless, stupid funny can only go so far in a movie. Just be glad though that you're not living right next to a Greek House from a college.

*Rated R for language, drug abuse, crude sexual content including brief graphic nudity, and teen partying.
