Sully

Based on a true story, Captain Sully (Tom Hanks) is haunted by his own ghosts. But it's not exactly ghosts. It's an entire plane that landed in the Hudson river and everybody in the plane survived. But how is that possible? In this movie, viewers get to see what happened on that fateful day on January 15, 2009. With Captain Sully being praised as a hero, he doesn't exactly feel like a hero. In fact, he can't help but play that day over and over again especially when he has to constantly retell the story to countless people like press. I feel like this movie was pretty straightforward when it came to events and nothing much was sprinkled on top to make the plot more interesting besides the fact that a bartender named a drink after the incident. This movie is definitely an inspiration though that makes you double think if someone says you can't, you may actually can do some things.

*Rated PG-13 for peril and brief language
