She was a small town girl living in a lonely world. She took the midnight train going anywhere. He was just a city boy, not exactly born and raised in south Detroit, but somewhere similar, Los Angeles. Sherri (Julianne Hough) is from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and all she wanted to do was sing. So she decides to move to the big city where she meets Drew (Diego Boneta) who works at the Bourbon which is famous for it's iconic stage where millions of rockers come to rock and roll. With it's all star crew, viewers can't help Tom Cruise play the almighty Stacee Jaxx and his slime ball of a manager, Paul Gill (Paul Giamatti.) It's your classic love story. Only it's a musical and it's filled with all time favorite songs. Just a reminder: Rock is never dead.
