Lion

In the little town of Khandwa, India, Saroo (Sunny Pawar) was barely making it with his older brother and mother. It wasn't until one day when his brother was looking for work was when he got lost. That was when his whole world was turned upside down. Lion is an interesting movie that follows Saroo's happy but somewhat lost life. Even though, he had a loving family, it was as if something was missing and Saroo had to find the answers. Even though there was subtitles for a good portion of the beginning of the movie, it was as if I was there in India with Saroo. It wasn't too fast-paced but it wasn't as captivating as I thought it would be. I would still give it a thumbs up.
