Hey guys, sorry it's been a while since I last posted. But with all these new movies on my To Watch list, there'll be plenty of new movie reviews coming soon :)
In this scary movie, creepy takes a whole 'nother level. Ed Warren (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Wilson (Vera Farmiga), a couple of paranormal investigators, are involved in a case where a demonic presence causes all sorts of mayhem including Lorraine having a vision of her husband being impaled. Little did they know that a year later, they were going to meet the Hodgson's and their encounter with a demon. The Hodgson's were enjoying their lives until they noticed something peculiar with one of their family members, Janet (Madison Wolfe). It wasn't until she started sleep walking everywhere and strange occurrences happening in the house when the mother decided to get them out of the house. Now, I'm a horror fan and I got to admit: this story was interesting to watch from beginning to end. If there was a fear factor with 10 being the scariest, I would give it a solid 8. Not to mention, it's not just your typical jump scares. There are moments where viewers think they're going to be scared but nothing happens then the exact opposite happens the next scene. There's also that killer suspense that keeps me on my toes. All in all, The Conjuring 2 possessed me to my seat until the very end.
*Rated R for terror and violence.
My Rating: A+
