Hey guys! I know it's been quite a bit since I last rated a movie. I know I've been slacking this year too. I'm mainly recovering from last year, but everything is all good now so hopefully more movie reviews will be popping up so just keep an eye out :)
So to those who don't know, Annabelle Creation is the prequel to Annabelle and I actually liked it quite a bit. Obviously it's a horror movie, but it's not one of those pop up scary movies where things just pop out of nowhere but there's actually a plot line behind the scary stuff that does pop up. After the death of their little girl, Samuel (Anthony LaPaglia) and Esther Mullins (Mirando Otto) open up their house as an orphanage to five girls and Sister Charlotte (Stephanie Sigman). Now, I don't know about you guys, but I feel like horror movies always involve children just because it pertains to the innocent side of viewers. As you might have expected though, these five girls are in a ride of their life especially after one of them comes across the possessed doll of Annabelle. The story of how Annabelle came to was shed in this movie unlike the other movie which has viewers questioning some parts of the movie. Fortunately, this movie fills in those gaps. Filled with crazy intense scenes, this movie will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat and jumping just because. So just in case, if you ever come across a creepy looking doll, run away and don't ever look back.
*Rated R for violence and terror.
