It

Hey guys! How's it going? I've been sluggishly getting through the year, but with Fall coming up, things are going to be more awesome and what's the best way of starting the season? By watching It.

So I may be a little biased since I did read the book and I watched the original but I kept an open mind about It, and It is definitely a must watch if you like your horror movies. In the town of Darry, Maine, Bill Denbrough (Jaeden Lieberher) is going through the hardship of losing his brother, but with his friends trying to distract him, he still can't help but think of little Georgie (Jackson Robert Scott) and how he ended up missing and where he might be. It's only 1988 so nothing incredibly horrible should be happening, but there is and it's mainly because kids are ending up missing and no one knows how or why. Bill starts to realize how and why though along with his friends. I really like how the directors got the viewers close and personal with each kid and how their life is different than the others which is a big portion of the movie.

The scare-ness factor of the movie wasn't that bad. Viewers knew what they walked into once they knew they were watching a Stephen King movie. I believe the creepy factor was definitely up there especially when it came to Pennywise the clown. There are moments too where the emotions can get super hyped like Beverly Marsh (Sophia Lillis) and her battles with her dad. Or Ben Hanscom (Jeremy Ray Taylor) and his struggle of being bullied hardcore to the point where bullies are carving their names into his stomach. Or Bill trying to get over the fact that his brother really is gone. It was just very interesting seeing the struggles of every day life for the kids. Now when you have the mixture of every day life with bullies, school, and a psycho clown ready to kill you, that's when things can get a little hectic. All in all, it was a really good movie that I think every scary movie fanatic should watch It. It keeps to the book and not only that, it scares viewers to the point where they might look at clowns differently. Who knows? Just don't be wandering around the sewers.

*Rated R for violence/horror, language, and bloody images.
