Bird Box

Happy New Year guys! Let's welcome 2019 with one of the most famous movies that's trending all over social media: Bird Box.

Everyone knows Sandra Bullock as the lady from the Blind Side or the astronaut from Gravity or other amazing roles from other movies. In Bird Box, she's known as Malorie. In order to understand the movie, most people would have to understand the concept of flashbacks because the movie does go back and forth with Malorie heading towards a sanctuary for her children and her being pregnant while dealing with the crazy outbreak that started the whole nonsense of not looking at the predator.

To me, this movie is a ginormous meme. It's all over social media. Don't take off the blindfold. Don't look. It's a good movie, but after watching similar movies to this like the Happening and A Quiet Place, I think this movie could have done better. It has good actors like Machine Gun Kelly, John Malkovich, and even Sarah Paulson, but they're not in the movie long enough for viewers to get attached to their personalities. Maybe it's because it's a suspense movie that they do end up dead. I did like the concept of Malorie having birds to sense if anything was going to happen.

All in all, the movie is good but I wouldn't recommend if you have watched similar movies. Of course, if you're a huge fan of Sandra Bullock then by all means, go for it. Just know you won't have to cover your eyes.
