Knives Out

Hey guys, I know I've been a little out of sync for a bit, but I have been keeping up with watching new movies and some old ones. Last week I couldn't really watch a movie though since it was my birthday so I decided to take a moment to myself. Anyways, Movie of the Night: Knives Out!

In Knives Out, Mister Harlan Thrombrey (played by Christopher Plummer) committed suicide. The thing is to Detective Benoit Blanc (played by Daniel Craig) doesn't think it's exactly suicide. With the help of his other detectives, Blanc interrogates not only the prideful Thrombrey family but Harlan's nurse, Marta (played by Ana de Armas) who was just an innocent bystander who helped Harlan. Through some twists and turns, Blanc comes to a conclusion that not only surprises the family but tears them even more apart.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed this movie. If it wasn't the all star cast, it was the intricate and puzzling plot. It makes you wonder who killed Harlan or was it an actual suicide? I definitely had my suspicions throughout the movie but it was just a good movie through and through. There are some dramatic parts including the music but the movie was made to be that dramatic. Also the crazy family drama made it even more interesting to see who was a suspect and who wasn't. So if you're looking for something with suspicion and a tale to follow, Knives Out is definitely for you and the family to watch.

*Rated PG-13 for violence, language, suggestive sexual reference, and drug usage
