The Bucket List

Hey guys! How's it going? It's been a little windy over here so my allergies haven't been doing so well but I'm staying inside and trying my best to let it not get the best of me. Anyways, I always wanted to watch this movie but I never got to it so without further ado, Movie of the Night from the other night: The Bucket List!

Edward Cole (played by Jack Nicholson) and Carter Chambers (played by Morgan Freeman) have never met each other until they were both at the hospital for chemotherapy. It wasn't until they decided to collaborate on a bucket list and achieve everything on the list that they learned what the meaning was to "Living every day like it's your last." From getting a tattoo to scouring the Savannah, no one would have thought these two strangers would become the best of friends.

I don't know why I waited so long to watch this movie but then again, I always put movies on my To Watch list and never get to it until years later but after watching this movie, I definitely won't be procrastinating on things especially on things that I would like to do. Anyways, enough about me. The Bucket List is definitely filled with good feelings and good hearted laughs. Not only do I get to see two great actors work together, I thought the story was an interesting one especially since they know when they're going to pass away. It's like a deadline on when they need to finish their self-made bucket list. The humor can be a bit crude sometimes especially with how Edward looks at things but for someone who has a lot of money to get whatever he wants, it's kind of strange how the idea of bucket list never came to him until Carter entered his life. All in all, a good movie with a great message for those who have been waiting to do something .

*Rated PG-13 for language and sexual reference

My Rating: B+
