Hey guys, how's your Monday going? Sorry about not posting last week. Things have been a little busy for me but I've been watching loads of movies for some reason so I might start posting on Saturdays again. Anyways, Movie of the Night from the other night: Eclipse!
The love triangle is back at it again; Only it seems to be a little bit more intense between Bella Swan (played by Kristen Stewart), Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson), and Jacob Black (played by Taylor Lautner). But romance is the least of their worries compared to someone changing people in Seattle into fresh vampires and it has caught the Volturi's eyes... As if they haven't been paying attention on the Cullens. It turns out: romance can be deadly especially for vengeance.
To be honest, after the last movie, I thought Bella needs to learn to keep herself busy whenever Edward is not around. They are addicted to each other and it's somewhat unhealthy which is why I thought Jake was a perfect match for Bella but the heart wants what the heart wants I guess. Anyways, aside from the love-sick vampire and werewolf, this movie has gotten a little bit more intense when it comes to the violence. Viewers got a taste of the violence from the Volturi in New Moon but seeing people getting decapitated is a different level. Did I mention seeing all of the Cullen's back stories on why they were changed brings a deeper connection to the characters? I'm just kind of bummed out we don't hear a couple stories like Alice's. It's intriguing when it comes to the reasoning behind someone changing into a fledgling which brings the question: Is love a good enough reason to be immortal?
*Rated PG-13 for some sensuality, action, and violence
My Rating: B+
