Breaking Dawn Part 1

Hey guys! How's it going? I'm doing good. I'm all settled now and loving every moment at my new place :) Of course, I watched this before moving but I know I put a stop on rating the series before watching the other movies so Movie of the Night from a moment ago: Breaking Dawn Part 1!

Bella Swan (played by Kristen Stewart) is getting married to a vampire and not just any vampire: Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson). Not only is Bella excited to marry the love of her life but also turn into one but plans change. Especially when on her honeymoon, she gets pregnant, and the child is a threat to the wolves in the city of Forks. It's up to Jacob Black (played by Taylor Lautner) to make sure there's some peace between the vampires and the wolves. But will that keep Bella human?

Did I mention as the movies go on, the better they get? New Moon is still my favorite out of all four of them though, but Breaking Dawn does get intense... at least for my liking. I can watch anything and everything gory, but the moment there is birthing I look the other way. Not just because it's something I'm not used to but there are intense scenes like Bella breaking bones due to the baby sucking her life stream or killing her for that matter. Other than that, I think the movie shows so much character development since the first movie because Jake is not only trying to deal with his love for Bella but the strain the pack is having on him. Edward even has to fight his satiation for Bella's blood to make sure she becomes the creature she wants to be. And don't even get me started on Bella. She's not exactly my favorite female main character but watching her grow mentally and physically is intriguing especially her comfort around the Cullens. Anyways, I do admit watching this movie in the theaters was pretty cool but I'm good watching it at home.

*Rated PG-13 for sexuality, violence, and disturbing images

My Rating: A
