Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore

Hey guys! How's it going? I know it's been a minute since I last posted. My allergies have been kicking my butt so I thought I might as well take a little break but with all the writing I've been doing, I thought I might as well keep you guys up to date. I have watched a good amount of new movies too so keep an eye out for other reviews but, of course, I want to start with the one I have been waiting for: Movie of the Night: Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore!

In theis third installment of the Fantastic Beasts series, Newt Scamander (played by Eddie Redmayne) is back at it again but this time is just like the other times. He's just trying to protect the mystical creatures he so lovingly cares about. Except this time, Gellert Grindelwald (played by Mads Mikkelsen) is out to take over the entire world not just magical but muggle. In order to stop him, Newt is going to need a lot more help. From his brother, fellow witches and wizards, and one of the greatest wizards of all time, Albus Dumbledore (played by Jude Law).

Despite the rise in the political debates over the franchise, I will never not watch anything that is from thiss mystical world. It has always been a place that made it's way to my heart not just for nostalgia reasons but a place that taught me friendship. Anyways, this final installment of Fantastic Beasts not only made the goosebumps and tingles come back but Jude Law took my breath away with his performance as Albus Dumbledore. Viewers not only got to know more about him but his family as well. And don't get me started on his powers. It's something to watch for yourself. If you're a fellow reader of the books as well, most of it wasn't much of a surprise. There are twists and turns that not everyone expects and that's what I loved about this movie. The magical feeling never left and don't expect any less on the big screen.

*Rated PG-13 for fantasy violence and action.

My Rating: A+
