Thor: Love and Thunder

Hey guys, how's it going? It's been a wee bit hot over here so I've been staying inside most of the time but good thing movie theaters have the AC blasting otherwise I would be melting. Anyways, Movie of the Night: Thor: Love and Thunder!

There was a time when Thor, God of Thunder, (played by Chris Hemsworth) had something to live for: The people for Asgard, the people of Earth, and even the people he considered friends like the Guardians of the Galaxy. But at one point, he found the love of his life, Jane Foster (played by Natalie Portman), and they were happy but things got in the way. It wasn't until life sprung on Jane, and she had to slow things down. But spending time with Thor is nothing but slow. This time, he's in the middle of tracking down Gorr (played by Christian Bale), a God killer, and Thor is on his list.

Thor has always been my favorite Marvel character. If it wasn't for his goofiness, it was always the good looks haha. But I didn't realize how silly Love and Thunder was going to be especially with his ex-girlfriend, Dr. Jane Foster, who by the way is as goofy as he is so it was a perfect combination. What made it even better was the Guns n' Roses music spread out all through the movie. The movie was definitely entertaining to watch but, sad to say, only entertaining. It did push forward the story on what's going to happen in the Marvel universe and it did have it's moments. It was pretty good watching it on the big screen though, so before you hit that Disney+ button, give it a shot.

*Rated PG-13 for language, sci-fi violence and action, and suggestive material including nudity
