Hey there! How's it going? I'm doing alright. I know I haven't been posting much. I've been a little busy but I promise I will get to more posts. There's so many movies I want to watch, but at the same time, I have no idea where to start. Anyways, Movie of the Night... from the other Night: Bullet Train!
Did you know a bullet train in Japan can reach 199 miles per hour? Well, this train was probably going that fast while an assassin was holding on for dear life hoping he doesn't fly off. Anyways, Ladybug (played by Brad Pitt) is on a mission and it was to get a briefcase and bring it to the White Death. Turns out other people had plans when it comes to that particular briefcase as well. Lemon and Tangerine (played by Brian Tyree Henry and Aaron Taylor-Johnson respectively) are two twin brother assassins who are escorting the briefcase. The would-be "prince" of the White Death is also on the train scheming to put her father to a death that would make her happy. With all these people on the bullet train, what can go wrong?
It took a moment to get a review together for this movie. Mainly because of how goofy and silly it was, but it was still entertaining to watch the action. There were so many actors and actresses in this movie I didn't even realize who was going to be in it. Sandra Bullock is in it for a minute, but that was still a surprise. I also didn't realize who Bad Bunny was until this movie. But anyways, the story was a little hard to follow since Lemon and Tangerine's accents are crazy heavy, but viewers are still able to follow the plot line. It was a little all over the place with everyone narrating a story here and there but again, not so hard to follow. Other than the pleasant surprise from Sandra Bullock, Bullet Train was entertaining. Just entertaining so if you can save the money, wait until it hits a streaming service. The movie is long enough anyways, so you'll be able to pause it and go the restroom in between scenes.
*Rated R for language, strong and bloody action, and brief sexuality
My Rating: B
