Hey guys! How's it going? I don't know about you but Spooky Season has activated in my household so get ready for the horror movie reviews. Anyways, Movie of the Night from the other Night: Fear Street: 1978!
Camp Nightwing is supposed to be a fun summer camp but when a camp counselor gets possessed, things take a horrific turn. Brutal deaths, several possessions, and an ax murder on the loose. What the kids don't know is that Sarah Fier is back and among one of them. The question is who is she going to take over next? Summer camp will never be the same for these Shadysiders and Sunnyvalers... That is, if they live.
I don't know why but ever since I started watching Stranger Things, I feel like I'e been seeing the cast in many different movies. I'm not complaining though haha. I really enjoy the show and let me just say: I'm super excited for season five! I have always liked the hacker/slasher movies for some reason. Maybe that's why I like zombie movies but this one is definitely in your alley if those are your go to horror movies. And in a camp no less. With horror movies nowadays, it's all about cyber bullies and all things technology as well as pop up scares. This one is just a thriller making you grip the edge of your seat as the protagonists run for their lives. So viewer beware, you're in for a scare ;)
Rated R for language, sexuality, nudity, drug use, and violent action
My Rating: A
