Hey guys, how's it going? I know it's been a minute, but I thought better late than never. I wanted to watch something nostalgic this week, and even though I have been watching other oldies but goodies like Titanic and Matilda, I rated those already so I had to find one I haven't rated yet. So without further ado, Movie of the Night from the other night: Ted!
John Bennett (played by Mark Wahlberg) wanted a friend, and his wish came true except his best friend is a teddy bear. As the older they got though, Ted (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) was not going anywhere even if John's girlfriend is wanting more serious things like marriage and a family. It doesn't help that John would do anything for Ted even call off work. Lori (played by Mila Kunis) who saw the bad influence Ted had on John couldn't help but give him an ultimatum: her or her best friend. Which one would you choose?
It has been a minute since I watched a movie with Mark Wahlberg and I thought this wouldn't be a bad movie to have somewhat in the background. Nope. I totally forgot how raunchy this movie can get, but since I don't really care what kind of movie I'm watching, I didn't mind. It is greatly advisable to not watch this with the kids around though. It is on Netflix, so it is something you don't have to add to your watchlist but it was definitely something entertaining. Just not the PG version of entertaining. I forgot the amount of cursing and drugs in this movie. Oh yeah and a sex scene with the teddy bear. Like I mentioned, it is a movie that you can have on in the background so you don't have to pay too much attention to it but if you do, just make sure to keep an open mind that anything is possible even if you are a teddy bear.
*Rated R for language, drug usage, and crude humor
