Hey guys! How's it going? I'm doing alright. The weather was cooling off for a minute and then it went back to the triple digits so summer is still among us in Las Vegas. Anyways, Movie of the Night from the other night: Back to the Future III!
In this final installment of Back to the Future, Marty McFly (played by Michael J. Fox) has to travel to 1885 because his friend Doctor Emmett Brown (played by Christopher Lloyd) dies shortly after sending a letter to Marty. Not exactly knowing what he is getting into, Marty tries his best to make sure his friend doesn't die and still has a life with the love of his life and while not getting caught by the native inhabitants. Marty has gone back in time before. It's not like he doesn't know what he's doing, right?
After the last movie, I didn't know how I was going to feel with this one, but it reminded me heavily of the old western movies since there are moments that do take place like a shootout and the lack of resources like clean water and roads. I thought it was interesting when Marty met his distant relatives, because they're the same actors/actresses from the other movies like Lea Thompson and Thomas Wilson. Obviously Thomas Wilson didn't play a relative but as Biff's great grandfather, "Mad Dog." I do have to give it a higher rating than the second movie, because at least I'm not going back to the brightly colored 2015 haha, but I think it's also because it is the last movie and the way they closed out the series was like a happily ever after especially for Doc and Marty as well as the DeLoreon. It got an all new makeover after a wreck! Anyways, as I mentioned with the other movies, it can be found in Netflix, so if you are wanting a movie series to binge, I highly suggest this one for sure!
*Rated PG for violence, gore, language, drugs, alcohol, smoking, frightening & intense scenes, sex and nudity
My Rating: B
