Hey guys! How's it going? It's still blazing hot over here so not much has changed. I'm just waiting for it to cool down so that I'm not melting as much, but hey. What can I do? Anyways, Movie of the Night from the other night: Back to the Future!
In 1985, Marty McFly (played by Michael J. Fox) is your typical teenager trying to live his day to day life impressing the girl he loves and listening to the music he likes however one night when his friend Doc Brown (played by Christopher Lloyd) is experimenting, he is sent to 1955 where Marty meets the younger version of his parents. There's nothing wrong with that right?
I feel like I have been deprived by not watching this particular movie series haha. I don't know why it took 30 years for me to watch this movie, but I'm glad I did! It also blew my mind that one of my favorite shows (Rick and Morty) is based off of it. Again, I'm as flabbergasted as the next person but whatever. Anyways, I knew I was intrigued the moment the movie started and the fact that my dad and grandpa were enjoying this movie as much as I was, it was definitely a good experience. From the crazy time hop to the 50's to Marty messing up his parents' meeting each other to meeting Biff's dad. This movie is something else. I wish I could have seen it on the big screen, but alas, it's only on Netflix and for only a limited amount of time since it is about to leave, so make sure to catch it before it's taken off!
