Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

Hey guys! How's it going? I'm doing fantastic! My birthday was this past Wednesday and this whole week has been filled with fun activities and memories that I know I will cherish. One of those activities was watching this movie and I can't wait so without further ado, Movie of the Night from the other night: Beetlejuice Beetlejuice!

Michael Keaton is back in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice except this time he's haunting Lydia Deetz (played by Winona Ryder) over 30 years later thinking he still has a chance with her. But when his ex wife, Delores (played by Monica Bellucci) is on the hunt for him, he's got more problems then he can handle. As for the Deetz', three generations are brought back to the house where it all started when an unfortunate event happened. They just have to make sure they don't say Beetlejuice three times otherwise things might get worse.

I have been waiting for this movie ever since I saw the sneak peek posters floating around on social media, and I have to say, it's not a bad movie. It's definitely more than entertaining that's for sure, but if it didn't exist I wouldn't mind Beetlejuice being a standalone movie. As for the movie itself, I am so glad they kept most of the cast plus a few more well known actors and actresses. They all work so well together, it's like actually watching a dysfunctional family coming together to get through this tough time. I was wondering why Beetlejuice's ex-wife was involved, but I guess it was a different element that had to be added, because I'm sure if you watched the first one, you would be wondering what happened with her. Anyways, it is super silly and a great movie to watch especially on the big screen, so I highly recommend catching it while it's still out!

*Rated PG-13 for violence, gore, language, alcohol, drugs, smoking, frightening and intense scenes, sex and nudity
